I can’t have enough of Indian Accent in NYC. It is by far my favorite restaurant. Delicious Indian flavors in very impressive, extremely Instagram-able plating, you are bound to have a memorable experience. Here are some new plates I tired earlier this year:

Goat cheese Tortellini with dried orange
The benefit of having friends with expensive tastes is that you get to attend their birthdays at expensive restaurants and eat some decedent food.
How-to: Microwaved Veggie and Mozzarella Slice
I’m always on the look out for quick to make food using a bunch of random ingredients in my refrigerator. Here’s a cheese and veggie slice that looks nice & tasted great.
Momos in Manhattan
Momos are dumplings. They’re known as Momos up in the Himalayan region and around Nepal. Why? I’ve never asked anyone that question and it doesn’t really matter because when you’re served momos, you have 1 job to do – eat them. They’re good.
The Dosa Waffle
There’s something special about fusion foods. It’s about exposure to more than one culture, it’s about creatively being able to mix staples from different regions of the world. Italian in a scone-ish pocket something
I stumbled across Trapizzino as a new fast casual Italian restaurant and was excited to try it. Italian is a safe bet for me as a vegetarian. And with Trapizzino’s unique serving in a fresh bread scone-like pocket, it had to be tried. Tried, I did. Not going back. The food just tasted bad.
How-to: Quick snack hummus
It took me a while to like hummus and once I started liking it, I can’t have enough of it. I had some cans of garbanzo beans and thought of making it. Here’s the result:
Colorful plate of tacos
Colorful looking plate of passable vegetarian Mexican tacos. Fun sauces though! Restaurant: Óxido
Vegan Lettuce Tacos
Pomegranate Cafe in Phoenix Arizona. Vegan restaurant which was surprisingly fun! But whatever the main mix was in these lettuce tacos was weird.
Cheese-filled fried olives & other Mediterranean tapas
Who knew this could be a thing. But it is. And it is delicious. The sourness of the olives, the cheese, and it is fried. Restaurant: Boccone, NYC
