Tonight’s Dinner: Aloo Mutter Paneer

Potatoes are in my edible vegetables list and I like them. Cooking then however is tough, it takes time. (Which is why I prefer tater tots.) Aloo (Potatoes) Mutter (Peas) Paneer (Cottage Cheese) is a popular dish in India and I decided to give it a shot. 

It’s basically the same drill as my previous dishes but I added a spoon of yogurt this time for the gravy. Yogurt helps soften the paneer and I thought it would be a legitimate replacement for cream. It paid off. 

Americans, this is a potato based vegetarian dish; not cold mashed potatoes as a side.
