I am not a big fan of Thai but the dishes are something I can eat since they have flavor. My Thai lunch at a restaurant called Asiam Thai (As I am Thai?) towards the Brooklyn end of NYC was economical and pretty good.
My appetizer was the only vegetarian soup on the menu. Called the crystal noodle soup, it had some tofu (meh), cabbage and scallions. By itself the soup could’ve used some spices which is where the chili garlic sauce comes in. Two spoons of the chili sauce and this was one of the best soups I’ve had so far.
The noodles were at the bottom and were transparent, and were difficult to notice due to the white bowl.
Next up is the main course.
