When chefs have fun with food it is evident. I went to a bunch of new restaurants, of which the last one had the interesting foods. Pictured here is a type of bread called the Zafrani Taftan.
At the Sahib Room at Palladium hotel in Bombay, this bread stood out and when the server explained it had to be tried. The taftan which is a type of bread was apparently marinated in yogurt that had saffron (zafran) overnight.
It was delicious.
