One of the biggest challenges at hotels in the US is getting breakfast that’s not cereal, eggs based or just a simple toast. Well my friend suggested that I do what I do at most restaurants – hack it.
At the Marriott in downtown Houston I asked the chef to fry me some peppers, onions, a lot of feta cheese and spicy sauce – essentially most of the things that go in an omelet. This with a slightly warmed bagel bread, chili sauce, orange juice and baked potatoes, I had a hearty vegetarian continental breakfast.
