At Toloache, hereby now known as the Cactus Mexican place, I was introduced to the variety of Guacomole. Freshly prepared guac in different flavors was quite the combo for freshly prepared chips. Toloache had (from left to right):
- Simple
- Spicy
- Pomogranate
The spicy guac wasn’t spicy but was better than the other two while Pomogranate was quite amusing.
Our experience here led my friend to find another place that had a variety of guac. On my recent trip to New York City, I visited a Mexican restaurant called Mercadito. And all we ordered there was their guac platter:
While the ambiance of the restaurant wasn’t exciting their Mango, Pineapple guacs were. The third was simple guac.
