Goat cheese is the most versatile food cheese. It can be had many different ways and it never disappoints. It’s delicious every way served. And it was no surprise that Indian Accent presented it in a way that’d make you lean forward to take a bite and then lean back as you let the flavors…

Chipotle-style grab & go noodles
Colorful, flavorful, quick, and easy. Restaurant: minigrow Spinach noodles with shiso basil pesto, tofu, slow cooked tomatoes, sesame cucumbers and sweet onions garnished with scallions and MG spice
Naan filled with cheese, bournvita ice cream, & chickpea pinwheels
Pondicheri isn’t a restaurant I’d recommend to anyone. NYC has plenty of much better contemporary / urban / creative Indian restaurants. Here’s the rest of my order that came in before the disastrous thali.
Quick-bite sandwiches
This was surprisingly delicious. From celebrity chef Tom Collichio. Restaurant: wichCraft Hummus and veggie sandwich – Hummus, vegetable slaw, roasted tomato jam, cucumber, arugula and tahini dressing on toasted ciabatta bread
Pondicheri: An assault on tastes and sensibilities
I am not going to mince words. And the chef doesn’t like to mince vegetables.
Masala Chai Kulfi
It tasted like frozen chai. And it was delicious with caramel popcorn. Restaurant: Veranda, Pali Hill, Mumbai

Colorful peppers, spicy jalapeños, cheese and guac as toppings, these fries looked exciting & were good to munch on while we waited for our burgers.
Chipotle for French Fries – Potatopia
Potatopia shut down in Manhattan and moved to Jersey City. That made me sad. Because they were an exciting spin on regular french fries. Served with a variety of toppings and even baked with additional cheese if you want, it was an unhealthy snack that I enjoyed.
Colorful open-sandwich slices
One of the best aspects of NYC is finding and eating at places that serve healthy, quick, colorful plates of food. Sliced checks all those 3 criteria. What makes this place better is that their menu entices you to come again and trying one of their other open sliced sandwiches. Here’s what I got on…
