While that’s the definition of a Schnitzel, that shouldn’t stop anyone from making a vegetarian version of it. And that’s exactly what NYC based Schnitz has done.

Below is their Fried Green Tomato Sandwich that is Fried green tomato schnitzel with Haloumi cheese, greens and mint.

The stuff inside the bread was good and the bread was noce, however, there was a tad much of the bread. Nevertheless a good vegetarian sandiwch with nice fresh fries.
