Upper West in Manhattan is a place to explore for those who like food. I came across a nice cafe while looking for coffee places that aren’t Starbucks and the one I found, unknowingly, has a lot of Grilled Cheese options – I love grilled cheese.

To complement the usually bitter coffee, I ordered the Gorgonzola and Apple grilled cheese; sprinkled with sea salt – it was delicious, although the bread was a bit too crispy.

Having said that, if you’re in the area and want coffee that’s not Starbucks, Birch Coffee is a nice place; even for a casual date.
